The reading distance of the 915MHz UHF card reader is between 1-15 meters. There are many factors that determine the reading distance; for example: the used tags, antennas, readers, environment, etc. Therefore, the more detailed you describe the relevant details of the project application, the more conducive we are to make correct product pairings and suggestions.

IC card is called integrated circuit card, also known as smart card. Can read and write, large capacity, encryption function, reliable data recording, easy to use, such as one-card system, consumption system, etc.
The full name of the ID card is the identification card, which is a non-writable induction card with a fixed number.
The IC card needs to be initialized (ie encryption), but the ID card is not used. When the IC card is in use, the IC card can use the key to open the corresponding sector for internal special setting encryption to form its own private key, which greatly improves the performance of the card. The security of the ID card cannot be achieved, and the application scope of the ID card is limited to the use of fixed numbers.

It can be solved without returning to the factory. At present, all the desktop card issuers from Rediyou support the on-site change of the card reading and fetching method. You only need the supporting software to change the fetching setting (the operating software includes more than 10 fetching methods to choose from).

Access control readers:
Support WG (Wiegand), with WG26 and WG34 as the standard output methods, and RS485 output methods; can be customized according to different customer requirements.
Desktop card issuers:
Support USB and RS232 (serial port) output methods.
modules:
Support WG (Wiegand), RS232 (serial port), TTL, IIC, RS485, USB and other output methods.

Troubleshooting:
Take the card reader with the above phenomenon into the room and test it at a constant temperature. If the card is readable, it is related to the local temperature.
Reason:
The temperature sensitivity of the card reader installed outdoors increases, which is affected by the temperature at that time; the card reader can usually be used normally at -10°C to 60°C.
Solution:
Replace the card reader and use low temperature and high temperature card reading equipment.

Troubleshooting:
Check whether the wiring method is correct and whether the power is normal; check whether the power supply voltage is normal.
Reason:
Wrong wiring; incorrect supply voltage; card reader failure.
Solution:
Refer to proper wiring instructions for wiremap connections; replace card reader.
